Prep for Law Day

Today, as has been the past several days, was crazy. Several things all happened at once that J has to take care of. As she has literally needed to be two places at once all day yesterday and today, I have been running around almost as solid as she has. Tomorrow, there should be a break from the craziness. I have been learning little by little about Kaiserslautern, the military, and surrounding cities that J and I plan on visiting soon...such as Strasbourg, Paris, and the Alsance Lorraine region. We are both also planning on visiting Norway, Denmark, and Italy, ideally this summer.

I recently got in contact with a distant relative who has additional genealogy information on my German roots. With both of our heads put together along with several other family members and resources, I hope to get as far back as I can with my family history in Europe, including visiting where they lived.

Well, I get to get ready for prom on Saturday and make plans for that as well. The craziness continues!

I'm so excited that you were able to contact a relative! What treasure trove of information that will be! I got a notice from Amazon about their DNA program and signed up for that when it is available. Good for you!

Take advantage of traveling around. Sample the food of each country around you!

Have fun at prom - you will make it a fun evening, I know. You'll love Paris. The flowers will be beautiful. Give yourselves plenty of time to go through the Louvre. There is so much to see.
